 How to access VPS?
To access your VPS, you need to execute a windows executable: Remote Desktop Connection (RDC), this executable can be found from START -> All Programs -> Accessories -> Communications -> Remote Desktop Connection.

 What is my VPS computer name?
On the Computer box section on RDC program, write only VPS' IP address, you will be given IP address, username and password when your account activated.

Access to VPS was too slow, how to increase performance?
To increase access speed, you need to change several RDC setting:
click on Option >> button, then click Experience tab, on drop down box choose Modem (28.8 Kbps), make sure that only Bitmap caching option box which marked, remove mark on other options.
on Display tab for Remote desktop size move the marker to the left until you get 640 by 480 pixels of desktop size.
on Local Resources tab for Remote computer sound section choose from drop-down box: Do not play and on Local devices section mark only Disk drives option (Important!), remove mark on other option.

 OK, I can access VPS now, how to run metatrader software? (trial-VPS)
Treat your VPS exactly the same with your computer; on the desktop there was a shortcut to execute metatrader software, double click on metatrader icon to execute.

 How to access my trading account on the available metatrader software?
You can open metatrader login window from Menu File -> Login on metatrader software, choose your trading broker's server from Server drop-down box, ex.: NorthFinance-Real, fill the Login box with your trading account number and Password box with your password, click login, wait until metatrader software connected with your broker server.
There are several metatrader broker server on server's drop-down box, contact us if your broker's server not available on the drop-down box.

Can I execute two metatrader software simultaneous?
No, you can't execute two copy of metatrade software for trial-VPS, for non trial account, you can simultaneous execute up to four metatrader software. |
How to upload my expert advisor?
Open My Computer from VPS, Start -> My Computer
Open your local drive on VPS's Windows Explorer
find your expert advisor or indicator file which will be uploaded to VPS, copy that file
On the Desktop there are a shortcut ke metatrader expert folder, open the expert folder by using the shortcut
Paste the file which will be copied to expert folder
Restart metatrader software to compile your expert advisor

Did metatrader software keep running when I loss internet connection?
Yes, metatrade software will keep running even you loss your internet connection or when you close RDC window as long as you don't close or terminated metatrader software. When you log-in, you will get VPS state exactly the same before you leave or close the RDC window. |
